David Helfer Named President of Texas Institute for Surgery

DALLAS, TX - David Helfer has been named as the new president of Texas Institute for Surgery At Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas.

Helfer has been the Senior Vice President for Hospital Consulting for EMPATH Consulting, Inc. since 2006, and will assume his role at TIS beginning in mid July. Prior to that role, Helfer served as Sr. Vice President with St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System in Houston. Helfer brings nearly 30 years of clinical, operational, managerial and executive level and consulting experience in health care.
